Phil Andrew is Principal of PAX Group, a crisis and conflict management consultancy dedicated to helping leaders and organizations navigate dynamic environments. PAX group values people and relationships and believes that listening and engagement are the foundations of a resilient, healthy, and efficient organization. Phil was previously the Director of Violence Prevention for the Archdiocese of Chicago. He has served on the City of Chicago’s Office of Violence Prevention Advisor and the Governor of Illinois’ Public Safety Transition Committee, and Chicago Mayoral Public Safety and Accountability Transition Committee is an adjunct instructor at Northwestern and DePaul Universities and serves as advisor to the National Security and Human Rights Law Center at Kent College of Law.
As a former Special Agent at the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Phil led hostage negotiation teams. He has expertise in violence prevention, counterintelligence, counterterrorism, and crimes against children.
