Former FBI Agent and U.S. Marine Brings Unmatched Expertise in High-Stakes Intelligence, Crisis Management, and International Security
April 3, 2025 (Chicago) — PAX Group, a premier global crisis management and security consulting firm, proudly announces the appointment of William J. "Bill" Corbett as a partner. A globally recognized authority in intelligence gathering, interrogation, and critical infrastructure protection, Corbett has been at the forefront of some of the most complex security operations of our time—from international conflict zones to major global sporting events.
A former U.S. Marine aviator and FBI special agent, Corbett has worked alongside the United States Marine Corps (USMC) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to lead intelligence efforts that have shaped the security landscape at the highest levels. He was a primary FBI interviewer on the team that debriefed former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein, uncovering critical intelligence for the Iraqi Survey Group.
“Bill has spent decades operating in the world’s most high-risk environments, providing intelligence and security solutions that save lives,” said Phil Andrew, Founder of PAX Group. “His ability to assess threats, lead high-stakes investigations, and implement proactive security measures is second to none. His expertise will be invaluable as we expand our work with global organizations facing today’s most pressing security challenges.”
A Proven Track Record in Global Security and Intelligence
Corbett has been instrumental in preventing and responding to international security threats, conducting complex transnational investigations, and training elite security personnel. His extensive experience includes:
FBI Counterterrorism and Intelligence Operations – Served as an initial responder to the Al-Qaeda attacks on the U.S. Embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, conducting critical investigations into transnational narcotics and terrorism networks.
International Law Enforcement and Interrogation Expertise – Led joint investigations with security agencies from Rwanda, Belgium, Serbia, Congo, and InterPol and played a pivotal role in the capture of Bosnian Serb General Ratko Mladić, a key figure in war crimes investigations.
Global Sporting Event Security Leadership – In the lead-up to the 2023 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, Corbett directed security training for stadium personnel across all venues, equipping them with behavioral detection techniques and intervention strategies to ensure heightened vigilance and rapid threat response.
Stood Up FBI’s War Crimes & Human Rights Unit - Supported US and international prosecution of notorious war criminals, establishing protocol and international collaborations
