Dr. Takher is an adult, child, and forensic psychiatrist. He currently serves as the director of child and adolescent psychiatry at Saint Anthony Hospital. He is also the founder of Takher Forensic Consulting, PLLC. Dr. Takher provides various services ranging from criminal to civil case evaluations, including competency to stand trial, criminal responsibility, independent medical exams, fitness for duty, and child custody evaluations.

Dr. Takher has participated in an extensive number of forensic evaluations, testifying as an expert witness, assessing acute and long-term risk, conditional release management, and assessing civil cases in outpatient and community settings. As an adult, child, and forensic psychiatrist, Dr. Takher has many areas of expertise, including inpatient, outpatient, correctional, consult liaison, and emergency psychiatry.

Through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN), Dr. Takher is board-certified in adult, and child & adolescent psychiatry. Dr. Takher is board-eligible in forensic psychiatry.
