Dr. John Mayer

I have been a practicing clinical psychologist for over 25 years. I received my doctorate in clinical psychology from Northwestern University Medical School. I am the author of over 16 non-fiction books, most on family issues and/or problems in teenagers and children. I’ve written three novels, a play that has been performed on stage and I’m currently writing my fourth novel. UANL Press, the 2nd largest publisher in Mexico & South America is publishing 14 of my books in Spanish including my newest novel: Immortal: The First Tango. I am also a visiting Associate Professor at the University of Nuevo Leon, in Monterrey, Mexico. In the year 2000 I was named one of the century’s Outstanding Scientists. I lecture all over the country and appear in the media frequently. I have written 6 screenplays, 3 are in production now, and won prestigious awards for my screen plays. I also consult to films on psychological issues, violence, crime and more.
